Coxiprol-K
Coxiprol-K is used as a preventive or therapeutic agent against Eimeria infections in poultry, especially E. tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervuline and E. praecox. It is effective against other protozoal infections like Histaminases’ (Blackhead) in turkeys and poultry, against coccidiosis in calves, sheep and goats, against amebiases in various species.
Indication
• Prevents and treats coccidiosis in chickens, turkeys, ducks, and pigeons
• Effective against economically important strains of coccidiosis
• Targets E. tenella, E. necatrix, and most strains of E. acervuline
Dosage and Administration
Poultry:
Preventive: 1gm/ 3 liters of drinking water for 1-2 weeks
Curative: 1.5gm/ 1 liter of drinking water for 5-7 days
Calves, lambs:
Preventive: 1gm per 40 kg body weight for 5 days
Curative: 2gm per 40 kg body weight for 5 days
or as recommended by veterinarian
Composition
Each 100 gm contains:
Amprolium Hydrochloride – 20 gm
Vitamin K3 – 0.2 gm
Excipients – Q.S.
